They should...I'm running American Racing AR-23's in 16x8 size and same offset/backset specs and they are fine on my '01 Suburban 2500.

The effectively push that extra 1.5" outboard so there are no rub issues on the suspension. That effectively increases your front and rear tracks by 3" so the truck is a little more stable and handles better. I have 265/75 tires and they *just* clear the airdam with no trimming.

You can also check the fit guide on your wheel mfr's website of they have one.

Be careful, the GMT900 1500's require a 17" minimum wheel diameter to clear the calipers. I doubt 16" will fit the 2500 either.

16s WILL fit a 2500hd, the front brakes are a bit smaller cause they still have rear discs as GM hasn't cheaped out on those yet.

Does that mean 16's would fit on my truck?

Assumed "NBS" was 00-08 years, and 16" wheels were stock. Not sure about the new 900 series, but if I recall, the HDs use the same same forged aluminum wheels that the 800's did.

Thanks guys. I found out that 16's will NOT fit if they are aftermarket, only the factory 16's will. I am looking to buy the Helo Maxx 8 wheels in chrome, but I guess Ill have to get 17's. Helo Maxx 8

The chassis is the same on the newer 07-08 HDs, and on my stock 2006 2500hd I had 16x8 American Racing Bajas and 285/75r16 all terrain tires and they fit with minor trimming. I'm not sure how it'd rub on 07+ body though, the wheel openings are a bit different. But I know they fit 16s as I've seen them on newer models at my dealership and on the road.

I have a set of 16" ProComp wheels with 4.5" bs on my NNBS HD. No problem with fit, there's even enough room between the calipers and wheel for stick on wheel weights.
