  4. I'm working on a way of hosting the current version of the program I am running, which is what is outlined here which are the factory heat switches to function with the Canny unit. Not sure if there other will work with the heat only switches as I used the heat/cool, but to be honest I doubt the addressing would be different. None the less, I'm going in for ankle surgery tomorrow but once I get a bit healed up I'll have the program and will try to assist as I know Dave and a couple others might be trying this retro fit. Sorry I have been as active in here in the last few months, focus has shifted to getting the truck ready to race and most of my time had been spent getting the 4-link dialed in. Oh, and passing Pennsylvania emissions with more than 700hp. Thanks for everyone's interest and stick around for more. Kyle

  6. So for the last two months I have been all over this forum, Duramax forum as well as Google searching for an answer for the service trailer brake error on my 15 Sierra 2500 Denali. I have a 2017 24' all led tilt trailer that was purchased new and its never worked on my truck. I also get the service trailer brake system with no brakes or lights when I use it. When I hook it up to my buddies 09 Duramax all lights, brakes etc work fine. 2nd trailer is a 2010 18" car trailer, non led, with brakes. When I pull it I get "check trailer wiring" then shortly after get the "service trailer brake system" I've replaced both plugs with the Pollack plug with same result. Traced and re traced both truck and trailer wiring with no luck. Added grounds, wiggled the connector, cleaned all the contacts etc, nothing seemed to work. While sitting there this afternoon I took a flat headscrew driver and bent each pin outward a fuz until it was really tight when plugged in and just like all the lights and brakes work with no issues on both trailers. Two months of researching and It was so simple. I'm posting this for the next person that comes along with the same issue. I never saw anyone mention adjusting the prongs of the truck connector so hopefully this helps someone.

  7. Mine was a combination of the for lose bolts and I also put a zip tie around the hood release cable. That was most of my rattle. I put just enough tension on it to hold it sung in plast clip. Doing those to things fix all my rattles. Drove me nuts until I traced it back to the hood release cable.

  8. Ordered them from gmpartsdirect. Mirror caps part#23236147 Door handles part# 23236150. All parts came pre painted gloss black, which matches my Onyx Black perfectly. And they are OEM parts

  9. I used painters tape and marked it off while it was still on the truck to get my line where I wanted it. Then I just bolted it off and took a dremel to it following the tape line. It was pretty simple just time consuming. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  12. Same rattle in my 2015 Sierra too, thought it sounded like a loose washer somewhere so the video confirms that. Now I know where to look!

  14. My '15 has been doing this since day 1, but it's not listed in the TSB. I'd love to get this fixed. It's annoying.

  16. @SuperAllTerrain Thanks man. They really look great. I was afraid from the photos I saw online that they would have a strange pink glow or that you would be able to easily see the red through the black/smoked plastic. Looks like they are pretty dark though and look great at night. Looks like I've gotta just wait out the sale now.

  18. We have a picture of some wrecks in the office. I don’t have an off road vehicle nor do I know how the boundaries of the base are. I hope I never have to deal with a 16 crash. Already don’t like the air start training. Hydrazine response and associated maintenance sucks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  19. Shop did the install of the arms, coilovers, and dirt king alignment cams. Going to drive it for a couple weeks then take it back for them to do final adjustments and another alignment. Sits a tad high at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. JETHAWKS!!!! I’m staying in Kern, Rosamond is in Kern, close to work, and some off-road things to do. We don’t mind driving to Bakersfield or Valencia, or Apple Valley. We’re going to venture to Ontario and Fontana, CA in a few weeks. In November, I’m looking at taking my brother in law, nephew, and son out to the XB-49 (south of California City) and XB-70 (northwest of Barstow) crash sites.

  21. I used the smallest jewelers crosstie/awl to forge a path next to the pin to push the lead into. My first one was just as rough, when I did this to my 15. I ran them nearest corners to each pin, pushing leads all the way in.

  22. Took the family to chruch this morning. Daughter took off after church with one of her friends to lunch and go shopping. Wife, son, and I went to brunch in Cal City, look at a furniture store in Mojave, grab some groceries, and drove home, crossing the 1,000 mile mark just south of Mojave.

  30. Keep in mind this is extremely crappy and only for testing theory. I would like to build some sort of split collar from plastic or aluminum that clamps onto the steering shaft or the boot and stays stationary or spins with the shaft. Also, something more solid could House some pre cut sound deadening material.
