Techlink has an article about installing/replacing (I forget which) a piece of weatherstrip in the vertical space at the rear of the rear side windows -- don't know if it's related, but might be something to track down.

The only reason for fluid loss is a transmission leak or overheated transmission. This vehicle is not equipped with a transmission fluid level dipstick. There is a special procedure for checking and changing the transmission fluid in these vehicles. Because this procedure is difficult, this should be done at the dealer. DL3 powerfold mirrors are standard on SLT available on SLE (with all terrain). Chev shows standard and only available on SLT and High Country.

FWIW, LML fuel mileage typically continues to improve for the first 10,000miles.
