  1. Sorry it's a little blurry. There are top (blue) and bottom (yellow) shipping frames and spacers between each vehicle frame.
  2. GMC/Chev is about trim differences. SLT is comparable with LTZ. On Sierra 10 speed is standard on AT4 and Denali. MQB Transmission, 10-speed automatic, electronically controlled with overdrive and tow/haul mode. Includes Cruise Grade Braking and Powertrain Grade Braking On SLE and Elevation - Available on 4WD models equipped with (L84) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine. Included and available with (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine. On SLT - Available on models equipped with (L84) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine. Included and only available with (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine or (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine. Choices, choices, choices...
  3. 3 transmissions and 6 engines...
  4. There are GM dealers 'here' that sell aftermarket packages have factory take-offs available. There are also ' tire-and-wheel' package shops that deal in factory take-offs. (presumably they buy take-offs from dealers that have too many sets or do not want to inventory and sell take-offs. I'd expect similar in many/most areas.
  5. Probably can't get tooling done fast enough for supply to keep up with demand. Today, order guide says: MQB Transmission, 10-speed automatic, electronically controlled with overdrive and tow/haul mode. Includes Cruise Grade Braking and Powertrain Grade Braking WT and custom - not available CustomTB - Included and only available with (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine. LT - Included and only available with (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine. RST and LTZ - Included and only available with (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine or (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine. LT TB - standard HC- Included and only available with 4WD models, (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine or (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine.
  6. Agreed. The truck in question with the bad oil pump is a 2020, with 3500 miles --- I'm guessing, but the remaining factory powertrain is probably longer than the 'parts' warranty.
  7. A repair under warranty doesn't mean they extend the warranty...
  8. That's not 'normal'. Take it in. Might be the issue in the bulletin, or might be something else. Dealers' job to figure it out.
  9. 2020 Sierra brochure has three versions of this wheel available. Gloss black painted (elevation) ........................................Machined Aluminium with painted grey inserts (AT4) Carbon Grey Painted Aluminium (AT4 Carbon Pro)
  10. For 2021: On Sierra NEW! Wireless Phone Projection, for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto On SLE and Elevation - Included and only available with (PDQ) Preferred Package. On SLT/AT4?Denali - Standard On base Sierra - not available On Chev 1500 NEW! Wireless Phone Projection, for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto LT/RST/LTTB - Included and only available with (PCM) Convenience Package II. Standard on LTZ HC Not available on WT, Custom or CustomTB
  11. Rebate/program will be whatever is available at time of delivery. (of course if it's a supplier/fleet program of some sort, then you likely already know what the program is) Dealer discount is whatever you can negotiate. Of course trade value is also whatever you can negotiate, -- and they still play the game moving dollars between discount and trade-in to suit what they think you want to hear. I've never signed paperwork or given any deposit to order. I've also always been able to arrive at a deal I was happy with after the truck arrived.
  12. Does the Honda have a carbon filter? I wonder if the directional door is working correctly?
  13. Material is different, but same adjuster on SLT/AT4/Denali. Material description - SLT/AT4/LTZ/HC -- Perforated Leather-appointed front seats Denali -- Forge Perforated Leather-appointed Can't imagine that the material makes them 'ride' better. All the above have the a 10-way power djuster. (there used to also be a 12-way on K2 Denali, but it seems to have disappeared for the current ones)
  14. Doesn't the wheel tilt enough to see gauges? Is it the telescoping or non-telescoping? (telescope optional on LT, but all trims have tilt) EDIT to add: power seat or manual seat?
  15. Just copy the stuff off the nano to a usb like this one: Available in 256GB 128GB 64GB 32GB Only the black portion will stick out of the usb port, reducing the risk of physical damage. IIRC, the largest capacity nano was about 16GB.
  16. What difference does the engine make?
  17. Multipro tailgate was available as an option on SLE for 2020, so it would seem likely it needs a body controller programming change to match the new 'option'.
  18. Mine, the front of switch raises/lowers front of seat, back of switch raises/lowers back of seat. I find it necessary to mess with height of front and back to find a position I like. Wheel tilts and telescopes. Haven't done any 'in the seat' sessions longer than about 90 minutes, but so far I'm finding the '21 seat more comfortable than the '18 . Both trucks Denali trim.
  19. No, I was trying to figure if there was maybe a leak in the heater. Inside sometimes occurs if here is a heater leak (or at least back in the no AC days that was sometimes a thing) or plugged drain for the condensation in the AC coil. Outside, means glass is below the dew point of the outside air. When conditions are right, AC's have been similarly fogging windows for -- well as long as we've had ac's. A little flow thru the vents can prevent inside fogging under some conditions. In the great lakes area we sometimes see vehicles, (especially ones that are fully manual heaters) running around with all the windows fogged/frosted on the inside This is a sure sign that the operator isn't using the hvac to best advantage. Know one of those folks that run the temp control on max, and then shut off fan when they are 'warm'? Probably they also have trouble with fog/frost on inside. The auto HVAC reduces, but doesn't eliminate the need for intervention under some circumstances. Running the a/c at a warmer temp will help. If fan is on minimum, a higher fan speed will help too. Neither will clear the glass 'instantly', but can reduce the frequency of it happening. Yes, there will likely still be times when the dew point is close to the actual temperature that it will still be an issue. A space can be cooled by a small volume of really cold air. It can also be cooled by a higher volume of less cold air.
  20. Presumably the condensation is on the outside of the glass?
  21. Headlamps, LED reflector with incandescent turn signals and LED signature Daytime Running Lamps Headlamps, LED reflector (high intensity) with LED turn signals and LED signature Daytime Running Lamps 2020 Base Sierra, SLE and Elevation get first version 2020 SLT, AT4 and Denall get the second version Sorry, can't help with info regarding possible change/upgrade. Same deal with taillights: Taillamps, LED tail and stop light, with incandescent reverse light Taillamps, LED signature taillight, with LED stop and reverse light For 2021 trims have same versions as 2020's
  22. Recirculate still runs a % of fresh air.
  23. What % of fuel should be expected now? Back in 2010/11 when DEF was new there was a GM document that indicated about 1.5% of fuel, iirc. (so 1.5 gal def per 100 gal fuel) Is there an updated document / number available?
  24. The vehicle can be used normally during the software download. Once the download is complete, there may be a prompt to accept the installation of the update upon the next ignition cycle or the next time the vehicle is shifted into P (Park). For most updates, the vehicle will be disabled and cannot be driven during the installation. The system will deliver messages indicating success or error during and after the download and installation processes. I think this means it can download over your phone when you are driving, and then do the install when it is parked.
  25. I don't know the reason, but It's only on the diesel that it is 22. The DC 2wd diesel is also 22, and the other gas and diesel DC's are 24. And just for fun, the regular cab gas has a 28 gal tank. Reg cab is not available with 3.0 or 6.2 (and the 5.3 it gets is the AFM version, not the DFM version)
