I think the tech is mistaken -- or is thinking about other situations than these: (There have been other threads about the epb self actuating.) At least 2 situtations when the epb may self actuate: Found this in the '21 Sierra manual. Cut and paste from pg 246: The vehicle may automatically apply the EPB in some situations when the vehicle is not moving. This is normal, and is done to periodically check the correct operation of the EPB system, or at the request of other safety functions that utilize the EPB. The electric parking brake can also come on to take over from the hill-start-assist system: Also from manual: Hill Start Assist (HSA) When the vehicle is stopped on a grade, Hill Start Assist (HSA) prevents the vehicle from rolling in an unintended direction during the transition from brake pedal release to accelerator pedal apply. The brakes release when the accelerator pedal is applied. If the accelerator pedal is not applied within a few minutes, the Electric Parking Brake will apply. The brakes may also release under other conditions. Do not rely on HSA to hold the vehicle. HSA is available when the vehicle is facing uphill in a forward gear, or when facing downhill in R (Reverse). The vehicle must come to a complete stop on a grade for HSA to activate.

Does you screen have 2 or 3 little dots at the bottom - centre? If it does, try swiping the screen left/right to show the other page(s).

Someone asked if it works in the daylight. Just tried it -- and it does come on even in bright sunlight when the cargo lights are activated.

Sorry. Wasn't intending to suggest it's not, just that it's hard to help diagnose from a video/audio taken from a location that many/most probably aren't used to listening from. (as opposed many being used to listening from beside vehicle, or while looking at engine from above with hood open, or....) Were you able to take it in Monday as expected?

Works for me.... Doesn't sound right to me, but I find that video/audio of this type is often misleading. Is it an engine knock, or is it just because of the microphone location used? I'm interested in hearing the diagnosis.

I'm a duramax fan, and often try to show the other side of info sometimes posted by some that 'have heard' bad about them. However, if it's primary job is a 15 mile stop-and-go commute I'd suggest a gasser.

May not be the issue with yours, but this truck, and several before it, as well as several trailers all 'live' outside and are not pulled often. I find the the plugs on the trailers and the truck both seem to develop some corrosion. I've taken to plugging and unplugging the trailer/truck connection several times whenever hooking up. Since developing this strategy I've not had issues with circuits not functioning. Might be good luck, or might be the plug/unplug action cleaning the contacts enough to prevent issues.

I was just trying to make sure you knew that E85 has less energy (BTU) per gallon -- so a gallon of e85 does less work than a gallon of fuel with less alcohol. Octane reduces knock, but higher octane does not have more usable energy per gallon.

Icon on screen should change when it is charging vs not charging. Green thunderbolt equals charging. FWIW, if phone needs a charge I plug it in because using the cable charges way faster. (and without wireless CP/AA the cable is needed to run any of those apps.)

One inch is exactly 25.4 mm if you want to convert in british units First 3 numbers are how wide the tire is in millimeters. 275 / 25.4 = 10.8 inches next 2 are the 'aspect ratio', the ratio between sidewall height and tire width - so the QG3 sidewall height will be 70% of the width 275 x 0.70 = 192mm (7.6") Last number is the diameter of the rim in inches. What GM has been doing recently with factory tire sizes is using shorter sidewall tires on the bigger diameter wheels -- end result is that the overall tire diameter doesn't change a lot. In order to know if the overall tire is taller it is necessary to do the calcs or check the charts. Charts are easier For 2500 AT4 and SLT the standard tire is QF6 Tires, LT275/70R18E all-terrain, blackwall -- same size as the QG3 20" rims are available with QF9 Tires, LT275/65R20 all-terrain, blackwall https://tiresize.com/comparison/ In this case the comparison shows the 20 is a taller tire overall at 34.1 vs 33.2, but the 18 has taller sidewall 7.6, vs 7.0" Tiresize dot com says that at 60mph, and the speedo correct for an 18", the actual speed would be 61.6 with the 20". I have no idea what tire size (how many revolutions per miles) GM uses for speedo calibration. Maybe the could split the difference?? Maybe they calibrate the speed so the tallest tire is correct and for all others the actual speed is less than indicated?

Are you saying the only way you can get 93 octane is to buy E85? I would have thought many/most brands would have 93 octane that was E10. Here. some brands have 93 octane that is E0, even though their regular is E10.

I'm a duramax fan, but is the tune for E85? If not, give it a try on E0 or E10. More btu per gallon that E85.

At the tip, won't a ruler or tape measure work?

Seems like you folks already have it sorted out. For confirmation, this is from 2021 Sierra OM: The vehicle cannot be remote started if: . The RKE transmitter is inside the vehicle or if the key is in the ignition. . The hood is not closed. . There is an emission control system malfunction and the lamp is on. . The ignition is in any mode other than off. . The hazard warning flashers are on. . Two remote starts or a remote start with an extension have been used. . The vehicle is not in P (Park). The engine will turn off during a remote vehicle start if: . The coolant temperature gets too high. . The oil pressure gets low. The RKE transmitter range may be reduced while the vehicle is running.

Another difference is the interior colours available. Both are available in jet black (even though the material is different) SLT has 'Dark Walnut/Slate' available Denali has 'Dark Walnut/Dark Ash Grey' available. (and AT4's are 'Jet Black with Kalahari Accents' )

And a couple bags of gritty oil soak or kitty litter... And maybe extra weight securely located in back of box.

Does that lift include parts to lower the front differential?

Lots of discussion about older wheels on newer trucks here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/219499-2014-2018-to-2019-wheels-known-to-fit-thread/ It you truck is a 2500/3500 (yes, I know this is posted in the 1500 section) then the answer is that 2010 wheels do not fit 2011 and newer.

A good lawyer will tell you not to be in a rush to settle, as medical stuff sometimes doesn't show up immediately. Once it's settled, it's really hard to get additional compensation.

Powersteps are only available on Denali, and only available in Denali Ultimate Package (PEC). The composite bed is only available on AT4 and Denali. 22's are optional on both Denali and SLT. ( 22's are included with some of the optional packages)

2020 manual says: Sport Mode Use where road conditions or personal preference demand a more controlled response. When you enter this mode you will immediately feel a down shift. Maybe the 'immediate downshift' is another way to determine/verify if it woke up in sport mode.
