  1. engine cold or warmed up, what was the outside temp
  2. does it slip in all gear or in higher gears, no crap in the pan and burnt fluid usually is clutches slipping

  4. depending on the system most hydraulic brake systems work between 1200 to 1500 psi
  5. has anyone compared the old with the new, could you take the inner parts from the new one and put them in an old one, this way i would not have to change my tranny lines
  6. new trucks send a ground signal to the bcm for the signals
  7. if you are swapping the complete axle, then yes the brakes and u-joints are the same. you cannot just switch the inside parts because they have different size bearings
  8. if it is slipping it has probably put a lot of crap in the tranny oil and the tranny it self is going to fail. i would check the fluid first to see if it is contaminated.
  9. it is a sensor for a tracking device. we have the same in our trucks. each driver has a sensor that you touch to that round sensor and the tracking device and our company knows which driver was driving
  10. my 2014 lasted 2 years, i was already over mileage for warranty so gm wouldnt replace it. so i bought a new battery from canadian tire and it has been good ever since.
  11. it is a dual filament bulb, start up does park light , remote does the brighter brake light circuit, replace the bulb

  13. try unplugging your trailer plug harness

  16. just to confirm, tech2 will not scan the truck properly, you need to use gds2

  19. because the problems seem to be related to the brake pedal, i am thinking some one might have put in an aftermarket security system
  20. next step is to look for some type of aftermarket product that has been added to the truck
  21. google g218 ground and check that first
  22. my truck has a ticking noise that sounds like it is coming from the transmission, but it is actually the hpfp that makes the noise
