Interesting, there is another forum discussing why 12v to trailer battery thru 7-pin connector does not work even when fuse for that circuit is fine. I'm going to follow this one too.

My 2020 1500 LT with IOS Infotainment System received an OTA update to U157.3.1 on 4/4/2022; I'm still under warranty. Cannot find what tweaks this update did.

Had the rear window w/slider water leak on 2020 Silverado 1500 just before one year after purchase. Dealership used outside glass company to replace entire window assembly at dealership...and it leaked more after replacement! It was sealed properly on second trip, tech for glass company said he was not aware on the TSB for replacement until the 2nd visit.

My dealership (and others in the area) in central Illinois has online "specials" for full synthetic oil change, filter, top off fluids & tire rotation for $80 (8 quarts) and $60 (6 quarts.) Price has increased $20 over last year or so.

Do you have an add-on brake controller? My integrated brake controller on #6 will lock up wheels on my 5000 +/- pound tandem axle travel trailer. I agree that you need to inspect electric brakes on your trailer.

I had multiple leaking spots on a 2020 with sliding rear window. Dealer replaced entire window and water poured in much worse than before. At next repair, sealer was put on outside along top of glass -- all good so far.

Check the tag on bottom of pillar inside driver's door. Tag has max towing weight as truck was configured from factory. The "conventional" weight is for hitch towing, such as, travel trailer.

I have a 2020 Silverado, so no MultiPro tailgate. I assume you tried opening with fob and dash button with truck in park. Other than that, my manual has this statement: "In the case of a dead battery, the tailgate can be opened manually. Contact your dealer or Roadside Assistance." I asked my dealership (sales rep, service advisor and tech) and all said it was the first they heard of this and have no idea how to open with dead battery; told me to call roadside assistance but I haven't had the need yet.

I have a 2020 1500 and I see tail lights flash when truck is shut off and fishing boat trailer is attached. Dealership says this is normal, but I didn't have trailer theft active. I found TSB 20-NA-198 that applies to 2019 & 2020 models that I'll ask about at next oil change.

At least you got the trailer app on the truck to work, I keep getting a dead, blank screen for that page. TSB for that issue says to reset radio to factory default, so you've done that. Is the trailer connected to the truck? Maybe that is necessary to detect the lights during the light test and then to stop test. Have you tried to stop the light test through the MyChevrolet app Light Test on your phone?

Do you leave anything plugged into the round 12v accessory power outlets (front and back) when truck is off, like a dash cam? My manual says these outlets are part of the "Retained Accessory Power (RAP)" and outlet power will turn off when truck is shut off and driver's door is opened. However, my outlets were always on and I found that the power outlets fuse F27 on my new 2020 Silverado was not in the correct position for RAP. In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block Right (access by opening passenger front door), check 50 amp fuse F27. Make sure this fuse is NOT connected with the lug at position F28. For RAP, F27 should be on the left and center lugs. Connecting F27 with F28 gives constant battery power, not RAP. My dealership service tech has a "tech case" open for 6 months now on my 2020 with no reply yet from Chevy software engineers; tech said 8 months or more is common for a reply. Tech's best effort was to reset the radio/MyLink system with factory default and showed me how to do it if blank screen happens again. However, display has to be working to reset: tech's tip was to shut off truck, open/close driver's door, and let truck sit for about 20 minutes & display should work again. When I checked last month on tech case, I complained that my Silverado is two models years old and that there should be a fix by now. I was told it is a "software anomaly" and there may never be a fix. Pretty upsetting.

The remote start heated or ventilated seats may be enabled or disabled in the vehicle personalization menu. Touch the Settings icon on the Home Page of the infotainment display. Touch Vehicle to display a list of available options. Touch to select the desired feature setting. Look for Remote Start Auto Heat Seats and turn this option on.

This may not apply to you, but manual says REAR park assistance will not work properly if the tailgate is down.

F27/F28 in right/passenger panel would give the needed power sources, but your micro tap may not work. This fuse for the dash accessory area (USB chargers & cigarette lighter-like socket) may be moved between F27 and F28 for "keyed" or always on. Check owners manual for this fuse panel.

I pull a travel trailer so this piqued my interest. I have 2020 1500 LT with Max Trailering package. I put a 12v meter on my truck's 7 pin connector at ground & 12v+ charging. I, too, did not get any voltage with truck off, accessory mode, or running. However, I'm pretty confident my trailer is getting at least 12v from truck when traveling. I'm guessing there must be a condition that has to be met before truck sends 12v thru 7 pin connector. Such as, trailer plug connected and 12v from trailer is detected...just a wild guess. My 30 amp fuse at #63 (Trailer battery) looks good. I'll check more when trailer is connected again.

Are you driving when hourglass appears? I have 2020 1500 and if I select a camera view (only have bed, rear & hitch cameras) while moving, a countdown circle will start for 8 (?) seconds before turning camera view off.

Sheet metal on cab roof is so thin it will actually wobble/bounce when you go thru air blower after car wash. Dealer service advisor told me to check with their body shop about it. Body shop said others with 2019-2020 Silverado have complained, but Chevy will not do anything about it.
