  1. I've been using an AirHawk pillow in my 19 Sierra. Only way I can drive long distance and be comfortable.
  2. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there was a recall for the trucks. I can't tell you how many times I've been "flashed" at night. Considering we sit close to the same height as a Yukon.
  3. The puddle lights come on on exit on my 2019 Sierra. Haven't paid attention on entry. I seldom use the key fob so can't speak to that side of it.
  4. Curious. Drove my 2019 Sierra to the landfill to drop some trash. Drop off is a paved area. Leaving the site, got the Park Assist Blocked message. Noticed the light on the switch was off. Drove on and the light on the switch came on. Short time later, it was off and the message came back. Here's the kicker, I could press the switch and get the park assist off message. Hit the switch again, and the off message would go away, and the blocked message came back on. The truck has been parked since last Thursday and I had just returned from a 2800 mile round trip the Saturday prior. All sensors are clean.
  5. Closing the Pro gate, I get a loud popping noise. Almost like something is loose inside. Anyone else? 2019 Sierra
  6. Do you have the blind spot monitor? I've been told you can't install tow mirrors with that option.
  7. Cold hard shift seems to be an issue for sure. My truck had been sitting since Friday 2/4. The temps dropped at night in the low 20s. Monday 2/7 I got in to go run some errands. Shift from first to second was so hard it threw me forward. Second to third was hard but not as much as 1-2. the remaining shifts were a bit rough. Had the familiar hard downshift coming to a stop the rest of the day. The fluid was change at the last service due to shifting issues. Didn't help. Aggravating.
  8. Borla makes a touring muffler. A bit of a growl on acceleration, but quiet cruising. Not good to install a a second muffler on a cat back single.
  9. The photo is not real clear. But what I can see are fairly uniform dents. For sure, not hail damage. My opinion, for what it's worth, someone played whack a mole. Anyone pissed off at you? Where do you park your truck?
  10. Did you check the settings in the DIC?
  11. Let me clarify. Mine was done under warranty at around 11k. It was suggested by the service writer as a fix for the shifting issues.
  12. My dealer just did the same thing. Claimed the fluid would fix the problem and that the filter didn't need to be changed. I didn't have a code. Just the hard shifting. Same thing, don't need trans service until 100k. And I still have the hard shift and vibration.
  13. I have the 2019 Sierra and wanted OEM tow mirrors. I was told by GM they can't be put on vehicles equipped with lane change or blind spot alert. Same with 2020. I do know the OEM mirrors only require one additional harness.
  14. I've had that problem with my 2019 Sierra 8 speed. I've tried several different ways of stopping to see if it changes. It doesn't. I've had the hard shifting as well. Last trip to the dealer, they changed the fluid. So they say. I was also told it was the way the transmission is designed. I say bull. Good luck.
  15. Drive what you like. Like what you drive.
  16. They can do a soft pull without consent. Hard pulls require consent.
  17. Most dealers pull a credit report themselves and you may not even know it. Last new truck I bought, left over 2019 Sierra, the salesman said "you guys have great credit". So we knew he pulled a report. I've never had one tell us we had to bring in a report.
  18. I was thinking the same thing.
  19. If it would help, I could list the new vehicles I purchased that had problems from the get go. It wouldn't help you. If the dealer is any good, they'll take care of it. I would like to know the outcome.
  20. Just my opinion, I don't believe EVs are ever going to completely replace our Dino vehicles.
  21. Agree. Lawyers are the winners money wise. But these suits sometimes do result in a permanent fix. Sometimes.
  22. Google GM extended warranty. The GM plan will pop up. It has all the info on all the warranty plans, service plans etc. You can even find the cost.
  23. Zurich is the go to for GM/Chevy. I had it on my 2017 Silverado. Which was junk. When I traded the Silverado for the Sierra, I got most of my money back from Zurich.
  24. Oil change, tire rotation and "multi point inspection" which is more or less a pencil whip. That is, the oil change tech just walking around while the oil drains. I had five free services. I don't have any problems with the free oil and filter. Not sure what you mean by better quality oil and filters. My dealer is one of a very few I trust. Though it's a 90 minute drive one way.
