  1. Sure thing, here's a picture with the black packers I'm referring to. They both had to come out. Along with putting the perch to the last threads. This is how it looks with 35*12.50r17 comso muds. I'll attach one more image, I exceeded the file size.
  2. Did you ever do long travel? BDS is supposedly coming out with a kit as well.
  3. Tell that to Marilyn Manson.
  4. Just following up for anyone interested. PPe emailed me back recommending @DemonWorks's videos on it. He's also posted a follow up going over missed details and procedures. I'll be doing the install next month along with a filter replacement.
  5. Gotta be better than mobile 1 0w20 esp x2. Currently seeing 10% worse fuel economy and slightly less power compared to the ac Delco I usually run.
  6. Hey guys, I have a 2020 Silverado 3.0l Duramax. I'm looking for the gm filling procedure. I wasn't able to find it and was going to try a local dealership for it if this doesn't pan out. I know the temp needs to be brought up and gears cycled through, but I was hoping for an official document for it. If anyone has it I'd appreciate it.
  7. I'm curious to see how this goes. I've got less than 2 years left on my warranty, wish lists never end. Also as far as the PSI range goes. I've seen mine go as high as 60psi when pulling a trailer uphill or passing. Otherwise it's sits in that 20-30 range.
  8. I would imagine it would be fairly simple to go back to stock for anything warranty related. Just a little more involved than an oil change.
  9. Reviving this to state there is a weight reduction tune available now.
  10. I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 and need to replace mine. It's going to be out of pocket for me. Are their any programming services out there so I don't have to pay the dealership?
  11. Has anyone found a blanket that fits the lm2 turbo or modified one to fit? Amazon has some inexpensive blankets for other turbos I wouldn't be against modifying. https://a.co/d/8BgHzyR
  12. I'm going to gut them when I install a new bumper and tranny cooler. Hopefully between the tuning companies now available (RunVSE and PPEI) they can remove their p codes. Since the dealership won't flash them out.
  13. @DemonWorks do you think tunes from ppei or runvse will benefit from this exhaust? I'm probably going to get it for my own reasons anyways, just curious.
  14. Now PPEI has released tunes. https://ppei.com/products/2020-2022-gm-3-0l-lm2-duramax-engine-tuning-by-ppei?rq=yr_2020~mk_chevrolet~md_silverado-1500~yj_lm2-3-0l-duramax-diesel
  15. Exactly as the title states, RunVSE has released emissions compliant tuning for the LM2 Duramax in the Sierra and Silverado platform (pre-refresh). https://runvse.com/2020-2022-3-0l-lm2-duramax-emissions-compliant/ https://youtu.be/lGBM54eJ1Vw
  16. Plastic got brittle I guess. Pieces started falling out.
  17. Got some pictures? That sounds awesome.
  18. Any problems? Also have we concluded whether or not it's a fluid channel or some stupid design?
  19. A buddy of mine that builds engines suggested the same! I think that's my best route to be as safe as possible.
  20. Follow up question for anyone here. If I make a separate negative terminal block for ground. From where do I pull from? I understand pulling straight from the neg battery terminal can be a no no due to the voltage sensing equipment for charging being circumvented. If someone can identify where that is in the Duramax engine bay I would be appreciative and I'll post follow up photos when I add a bus bar. I plan on running 2AWG from it to the passenger wheel well for accessories.
  21. RunVSE is releasing a tune here soon. They just finished on their truck today.
  22. Dang it, I thought they both took 75w85 high efficiency synthetic ac Delco gear oil. Guess I'll have to match them up to the picture and rpo code then order some more gear oil. At 11.50 a quart I hope one of them takes it lol.
  23. Following up with current experience. Will post here again after I've hit some dirt and sand with 35's. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/262214-anyone-have-experience-with-belltech-lift-kits/?do=findComment&comment=2616720
