1500 Hd?

Im looking at buying another used truck and I came along a 05 or 06 1500 HD Diesel, I was wondering if it came stock diesel or if thats aftermarket? I have not seen a 1500 Diesel Chev before.. Any info on how they are would be great

GM use to produce 1500 (1/2-ton) diesels up to '98,after that the only diesels were 2500HD's & up.

If its an '05 or '06 1500HD with a Duramax in it,it ain't factory.

If it's a 1500, thats not factory It sure took alot of work to make work if it is... (1500) I'd be Leary of it and if your interested, I'd have it checked out by someone with experience.

yes... the 1500HD is gone for now... too bad, but I guess it did not come in enough variety of style/engines to be a big seller... I would still like to find an 06 or early 07 when I go to replace my current one..I think the 1500HD would be an excellent family/trailer hauler...... original engine in an 05 or 06 would have been a 6.oL Vortec

I remember a brand new truck on the local dealers lot with a 1500 badge on one side and a 2500 badge on the other. It was a 1500 truck as I recall. That was about 10 yrs ago.
