Cab Light Out

I have 2008 chevy 2500hd.I have a cab light out.Pull two screws out,but i could not get the light out.Need Help.

The bulbs inside are LED's,They are not serviced separately,You must buy a complete lamp asm.

If you took the two screws out it should just come right off the roof,I don't think its glued down

You are talking about the cab lights on top of the roof right?

Yes the cab lights on the roof,I took the two screws out but the light would not come off.Could it be glued,are just pull harder.(I have pulled hard and twisted would not move)

I just removed one from a truck on our lot,Theres a gasket on the bottom of the light asm.,Its probably stuck on the paint (I had to get a flat tool under it to lift it up)

We have 5 2009 3500 Silverado Tow Trucks at work and they all have a burnt out cab light.

I took my truck to the dealer ship,to have the light replaced under warranty.The teck used a plastic scraper to pull it off.The heat in louisiana(98 deg./heat index 106)had it stuck on good.I now know how to do it.
