Me too. I'm convinced now that levelling by raising the front leads to early ball joint failure. I'm thnking of levelling by dropping the back. Easier to get in and out of the bed too. I'd like to hear feom anyone who's done it and any drawback they've encountered i.e. towing, suspension travel, etc.

Aside from towing really heavy loads you should be fine. It's not like you are slamming your truck, just lowering it a little bit. A set of shackles is all you need. Feel free to get new shocks if you'd like but from everything I have seen, that's not necessary. If you do tow heavy loads, get a set of helper air bags and you'll be good to go.

Thinking about doing the same thing, makes it much easier to get in and out of the bed. Anybody got pictures of lower'd 08 Crewcabs?

I went down 2" in the rear and am very pleased with the asthetics and functionality, it might even ride better. And it's easy, even for me :dunno: My sig pic is not representative of the effect, in fact i'm not sure if it's pre or post shackles.
