Magnacharger FTW!! And get rid of that stinking superchips and get a real tune...ie Black Bear or Wheatley.

Good looking truck.

thanks guys. well what company do yall recommend to buy the charger from... i do not have the patience to shop around... how much does black bear or wheatley tune cost?

Black Bear tune is $200 to 300 depending on how you go about it. Also, Black Bear is a supplier for Magnacharger. Send Jennabear a PM she will get you some quotes on everything you need.

Almost every vehicle they own has got a Maggy on it, so not only do they sell it they use it. Great source for info right there.

I've been considering a Radix or equivalent for my 2000 6.0L tow vehicle. I don't need blazing power but I need something to overcome elevation and add a bit more low end torque.

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind. I and looking for people that are towing with a 6.0L SC for some input. The only one I've talked to said he hauled 9,000lbs over Donner Pass weekly and it had no problem anywhere but the mileage was 5MPG. He said it basically allowed him to do everything one gear higher.

He suggested that I install the SC and then only use it in the extreme climbs and not blast up the hills (like him). Mileage unload went up slightly though. He said we have to really watch the MPG because it was so easy to climb hills but at a terrible MPG.
