2007 Nbs 6.0 Check Engine Light

I have a 2007 2500HD NBS with a 6.0 . Recently my check engine light has come on and I took it to the dealer and they said the K&N air filter along with the throttle body spacer was causing it and they had to come off because this is messing up the air/fuel ratio. Thing is these have been on for two years and never set the light off before. What should or can I do??????

Have you recently re-oiled your K&N?

I doubt they are causing the code, if you haven't messed with them in past little bit. But, oil on the MAF could cause a code.

I would take it to your local Autozone or Oreilly's and have the scan it for you. Find out what the codes are, and we may be able to help a little better.

I would also take your dealers advice on the TB spacer and use it to hold down some papers somewhere. The only thing they do for you is lighten your wallet and add weight to your truck.
