Linex Vs Rhino Liner?

Rhino costs less because it is a cheaper product. It fades faster than line-X and you'll find differences in the ability to repair and the in the warranties. If there is a dealer near you, the arma-coat is comparable with line-x and usually less expensive.

I have Rhino in my truck for almost three years. It has faded a little, but I don't care, because I put on a soft roll on cover about 2 years ago. The bottom line is this, I have put pea gravel, regular gravel, egg rock, and bark mulch in the bed, and hand shoveled out all that stuff many many times and have dragged the shovel over the liner and have had no problems. I have never had a tear, rip, gouge or any damage to the liner and bed. All I know is that it is very important that the truck bed is properly prepped and the application is done correctly. I have also seen Line-X and think it is good stuff also, I just preferred the "rubbery" aspect of Rhino liner, and the fact that heavy stuff does not slide around.

I've had both in trucks and in my latest one went with the rhinoliner. The prices are similar and they both have lifetime warranties. I like the rhinliner better for the grippier surface and is sprayed on a little thicker.

I have owned both and prefer the Linex. Wears better, looks better, and better traction when wet. My current truck has Rhino and it looks like a$$ after one year.

Pick one and be happy. Both do a good job.

+1

I prefer the look of Line-X, but both are good quality liners.

Time to settle this once and for all

I have a decent size jackhammer laying around...I need 2 volunteers. One truck with Rhino Liner and the other with Linex. 5 minutes should do the trick. The one with the least damage wins :dunno:

:fume: Now we need some volunteers!

EDIT: HawkeyeOC - liking the mustang :P

Thanks! It's a fun car. No power steering or brakes, no a/c, no auto trans, or handling worth a darn! But I don't really care...it's just fun!

I went with line-x because it was a thinner coat. I could put my CMS right back in without any filing or shaving, and I prefer the texture over the rhinoliner's rubbery feel.

Either one will serve the same purpose. I think Line-X is a harder finish, however items might slide around a bit, where as Rhino liner has a rubber consistancy to it and items tend not to move around as much. As for thickness, I think it depends on the person that applies, regardless of which brand you go with. As for fading, I think Line-X has an option for UV protection, but I didn't know about it when I had mine done. I have had both and I prefer th Line-X. The Line-X is a bit more expensive, but the dealership gave me a public safety discount, so it was about the same price as Rhino Liner.
