Coolant Flush/ Fluid Change

wanted to change the coolant and stat, the thermostat was easy but have you guys had any luck doing the dex cool. i dont see a petcock and the lower hose looks like some 3 peice unit that doesnt come off. looking for sugestions, i want to get as much of the old out as i can. thanks

No petcock. Just pull the lower radiator hose. When is the last time the hoses were changed? It's probably time. I just replaced all of mine. Upper hose still looked good on the outside, not so good on the inside.

? on hoses, 66,000 and the previous owner plowed and pulled a boat, i just started changing everything. i will change the hoses now, What about that lower one, it looks like three tubes come toghether and theres no clamp to remove it?

Your replacement hose will look that way. It's all one piece. Just remove it at the water pump, plastic tank and heater core, if I remember correctly.

If you haven't already and it wasn't done by the previous owner, you ought to consider changing all the fluids. Trans and diff.

I am i even just did the brake andpower steering.
