Tpms Sensor Installation Question

I have a new set of wheels and new TPMS sensors. I'm wondering if there is any special installation to attach the TPMS sensor, or if it just installs like a regular valve stem?

Installs like reg valve. I usually put a little lube on the stem to make it easier to pull through

I also check to make sure the torx screw is tight; don't want a sensor coming lose in the tire.

So if I get a set of TPMS sensors but they don't have valve stems attatched to them already, is there a special stem i need?

Yes. you can get the stems from the dealer.

 

.... i always ordered the ones off of Ebay that had new stems attached. They were usually $5-$10 more for the complete set, but i believe that the stems are $4-$5 each at the dealer.... (may be wrong on that price)
