Rpm Varies

I hope somebody can help me with this issue.

When you are going 40-50 mph crusing speed, the rpms vary. It seems like it may have a bad sensor?? I have replaced the throttle positioner sensor and changed my fuel & air filter, along with new plugs and it did not help.

I think the truck's rpms are lower than they should be when I am driving at this speed.

Please let me know if anyone has experianced this issue and has resolved it.

Can you give us more info on what kind of vehicle this is, engine, miles, etc? Hard to know what to say not knowing that info.

It's a GMC Sierra 1500, SLE, four door. 5.3L engine, 119,000 miles.
