What does anyone think is the best performance program on the market for a 06' 2500 HD w/6.0 gas?

Handheld would be either Diablo or Superchips

Custom would be either Blackbear or GoWheatley in my opinion.

I went is Diablo first, did not get much out of it and wound up with Blackbear and really like it....

I just got a custom tune from Justin at Blackbear and am happy with it. Never had a handheld programmer, but I spent $250 on a in-person custom tune and the cheapest I could find a handheld was $350. Very noticeable gains from 1/2 to full throttle. Way better than stock. Low end is still pretty sluggish, but I knew that from the start. First gear is way to high with the 4 speed auto. But I still think it's more responsive that stock, just wished it could've been better. I'm going to do some heavy hauling this weekend so i'm excitied to see how she does.

Well I did some heavy towing this weekend, and I think the tune did help some. I'm always way over on weight anyways when I'm hauling cattle, so it's kind of hard to tell. Had one load that was 24,600 lbs. GCVW (verified with farm scales). I had trouble with that one! It did pull it, but I I don't think I'd do that again. Most loads were in the 20-22,000 range and that was plenty. I did notice that pulling the empty 4,000 lb. trailer that it did get up to speed a little quicker. But once loaded these 6.0's just don't have the torque a D-Max has. I was very happy though that the tranny temp stayed below 200 the whole day. Most of the time it was in the 180 range. I was a little worried taking some of the TM out would cause the tranny to heat up with heavy loads. However, we were only in the mid 60's, so if it would've been 90 it may have been a different story. It's days like yesterday I wished I had a diesel, but since I only haul maybe 8-10 times a year I can't justify it.
