I hate to bring work home to my personal life but since i do work in the insurance and financial services industry i thought i would ask how much you guys have. I have enough to pay off all of my debt and make sure my wife can keep up our current life style for a while.

Haha. Same. I figured that's who your worked for based on how you said you worked in the insurance and financial services industry. How long you been working for them?

Just since spring. My dad has been in the business since '83? and my uncle since '95? so i have been to many many annual meetings. GREAT company!

I must be somewhere close to the 1mil mark now, and I will need more next year when I buy a house for 425G's

 

I am with the Knights of Columbus, I don't know who they're underwriter is, but I do know you have to be a knight to get insured with them.

for anyone who doesn't know, K of C is a men's organization within the Catholic church.

 

I too used to work in the insurance industry, before I joined the military. I worked with Manulife and London Life.

 

I used to insure peoples lives...now i ensure they're freedom...

Well i have to say this poll is very interesting. I'm suprised though. I would have thought someone would have over 3 million of coverage. I think it would be interesting to see the ratio of income to insurance that most have. The gears in my head are turning

I am worth much more dead. My wife gets enough to cover the house and all the debts. she will only have to work to cover the taxes and utilities on the house. Same on her, I would just have to pay taxes and keep the lights on! and as she jokes I will have to have to get a g/f to work the washer.
