Dome Light?

Why does my dome light shut off at about 20 seconds when you open the door? Why does it shut off even if you have the door open? I would think it would stay on if the door is open. Is this normal? I hate this! I don't think it is operating correctly...

Please help!!

Its done that way so if you leave your door open by mistake you don't drain your Battery.

 

I believe there is an option on your DIC to change the time it stays on.

 

It is operating correctly. If you want it to stay on longer, and there is no option to change how long it stays on, just use the Map lights.
