What a day yesterday

Well, I left work about 3 yesterday and walk outside and it was absolutely perfect out (well for january in WI at least).  It was about 50 degrees w/ a warm breeze blowing.  Knowing that I wouldn't get weather like this for another few months I took advantage of it and changed the oil in the truck.  I was going to handwash it, but by 4 the sun was going down so I ran it through a car wash.  At least now it has some fresh fluids and is clean (well as clean as the car wash got it, there's still dirt in the wheel wells and that)

 

Anyone else take advantage of the good weather?

We've been having good/weird weather here, it was 80 yesterday, thought about washing the truck but had too much to do.  Tried to get the wife to do it, 4'10", she said bite me.  By the way how do you get a warm breeze when the temp. is 50?

Your weather is reaching me here today...should be about 50 or so. First thought that came to mind this morning was to wash the truck when I get out of work today...actually hoping to get out early, but don't think that will happen. My black truck is slowly turning a shade of brown... ???

 

I'm due for an oil change in 500 miles, but I can do this in the comfort of my warm garage   ...I may even wash my truck in the garage now that I think about it...I have one of those outlawed floor drains built in

By the way how do you get a warm breeze when the temp. is 50?

Well, it wasn't a freezing cold wind like we've had for the past few months.  How else would you describe it but a warm breeze.  

 

It was great, I was out in just jeans and a sweatshirt.  Kinda odd since a few days ago it was about 10 degrees w/ a freezing wind blowing about 30mph.

I might try and get out and work on my truck and my car. Its supposed to be a nice day out, but the weather lady is only right 1 out 365 times. So, I might just finish remodeling the downstairs bathroom instead.

I got delayed getting out of work last night.  I got home about 4:30 and immediately turned the garden hose on and washed my truck.  I can't believe how many neighbors I saw out!  I think each of them gave me weird looks.    I was wondering why they didn't wash their vehicles.

Yeah, thanks for the good weather.  I'd just assume the temps stay right in the 20-30 degree range all winter, sure keeps things nice with the ground froze and all.  Now we have mud again, that nice greasy stuff on top of stilll frozen ground.  Have I been taking advantage of it?  I guess so, this morning we got to haul manure, fun times.  At least no more tree cutting though!

Personally, I hate this @#$@!$#$% warm weather.  Its f-ing January and we are supposed to have snow Goddamnit!!!!  I am jonesing to get some riding in on the snowmobiles, but its just so touch and go around here, good one day, crappy the next.

haha, it's great out today again, not as warm as yesterday, but my truck is nice and clean.  I'm going to take pictures of it now paco.
