I have an 02' silverado, its dark green, and wondering with taking the back badges, and side 1500's off will there be any color differences since the badges have been on there for 7 years, and also being a dark color truck... also best way to do this?

Thanks in advance, Dan.

No big deal i just took the badges off of my 00 silverado a week ago and gave the area a wax and no fading whatsoever. Use dental floss and slide it behind the logo then use some goo gone to take the excess sticker off. Then apply some wax. Hope this helps

I took one off of my '01 black Silvy about a year ago and there was no fading.

Black will show fad alot more than my green! so i'm probably gonna do it next weeknd when i go home from school. I'll be sure to post up pictures! and Drummingchevy! that truck is sick! :dunno:

Instead of Goo Gone, I used Duck brand adhesive remover that comes with a plastic scraper on the cap. It worked better than the Goo Gone when I was debadging and the plastic scraper made i MUCH easier.

Just my .02
