Drivers Window

it seems the drivers window will not go down on my 2001 silverado 1500. it went up ok then makes some noise but no down? i pulled the door panel off to take a look. it looks like the cable broke coming out of the bottom of the motor. my question is can this be as easy as replacing the cable or is more involved? thanks for any help you can give me.

Manual or Power???

Actually...not that it really matters.

 

Its probably come un-hooked, try and plug it back in to the mirror.

 

If not you will have to see if they make a replacement cable...or buy a whole new mirror assembly.

You need a window regulator, you can not reattatch the cable.
