I have a 07 GMC 1500 new body style, and i want to lift it up and put 33's on. I was looking at the Pure Performance 4" X-Factor lift, just wondering if anyone has heard how this performs? or has an opinion on it? And if theres recommendations on another lift I'd like to hear them. Thanks.

if you are 4wd you need a kit with a diff drop on it, if your 2wd get it and do a review of it.

Agreed. If it were going on a 4wd, I wouldn't touch it.

Thanks for the input. Any recommendations on a lift that would be a better choice for my truck?

Rancho, Fabtech, BDS

Those are some really good companies.. Do some research on this site and read through some forums. There is ALOT of information here

If you are only interested in 4" of lift, I would go with a body lift and a leveling kit. You will save quite a bit of cash this way. But as far as 4" suspensions go, I would go with Rancho or BDS if that is what you are after.

I think I might scrap the idea of a suspension lift and just go with the 2" RC levelling kit and the 3" Zone BL. Just wondering if the BL will look goofy, I have Aries steps on my truck so I think that might help out but the wheel wells might look funny with the space between the body and frame?

Also I want to put some Hankook MT 285x70R17 on, will this require some trimming?

Here's my truck with the same level and body lift. I'm running 305/55/20 though.

Ya I can't believe you would drive a truck like that haha JK. Your truck looks awesome I would do the same thing if i didn't have to work off my tailgate all the time. Still debating the 4" Rancho and BDS suspensions but I might save that for the next truck and see how this setup works on this one. Thanks for all the help.

LSU, your trucks looking good i like the setup hopefully mine turns out that nice.

I'm also looking at putting some Firestone airbags in the back to help carry some of the weight. Would that work alright or should I try something else?

The bags will work just fine. If I'm not mistaken (I probably am), the bags sit between the leaf pack and the axle. Shouldn't be affected in any way by a body lift.
