Leveling Kit Height

I have an 08 GMC Seirra 4x4 and wanting to install a leveling kit. Just wondering how much height I am going to gain from it and how much I will have to lift the rear of the truck to make it sit level.

 

Costs and ease of installation a big factor also.

rough country 2" lift kit is what i have installed on mine..

Put te ReadyLift kit on my 09 Sierra, and a friends 09 Sierra ...it will make it set perfectly level. Get the ReadyLift 3" blocks if you need to keep a little "rake" for towing. The 3" blocks give you about 75% of what the factory rake is after the ReadyLift parts are installed front and rear.

I have a 2WD w/HD towing package (has HD leafsprings) and had 3 inch leveling kit installed in the front. My ride sat perfectly levele, until I towed my flatbed trailer (3200#) a few times. Now the rear sits about 1.5 inches lower than the front.

 

 

So much for the factory HD package the dealer sold me on.

Wouldn't you need to lift the front to make it level?
