GM speaker wiring

On GM door speaker wiring harness is the A or B positive.  Are they the same throughout all newer GM makes?   I just bought a speaker installation kit from Crutchfield wich came with door speaker harnesses that plugs into the OEM wiring.  On the connectors the B is marked positive(white wire).  I have read in this forum that A is the positive one.  Any suggestions???

If I understand your Question correctly the A (light gray wire)is the left front door (-) the B (Tan wire) is the left front  (+)

The easiest way to tell is to hook a 9V battery to the speaker.  That way you know for sure you are replacing what is true for your truck.

I havent got into the doors yet (maybe this weekend).  The adapter that Crutchfield sent that plugs into the factory harness inside the door.   Then you hook the adapter to your aftermarket speakers.  The B is marked positive?  I just wanted to be sure.  I will try the battery trick for safe measure.
