Mr Tail Light

I need to know if anybody can tell me if I can get the relay for the Mr Taillight from NAPA or any other parts store? My Kit is the 07hb for a chevy pickup.

I can't get them to answer the phone and I only need the relay, mine is going bad.

Sorry don't know about your part availability but wanted to warn you against ordering from them. A few months ago, I ordered the wiring kit for my truck to tie the LBs & Fogs to the HBs. Site looked good. I followed it for a few weeks reading their articles, saw no suspicios circs. so I ordered. After about 3 weeks it became apparent they were a ghost site. They immediately took my PayPal and sent an email receipt but never proceeded further (as in filling the order). I had to do the whole PayPal dog & pony show to get my money back. It took 2 months total but I did get a refund. In that time I got no answers on the phone or to email. I might be the only one who didn't know they were a black hole, but I've always had good luck with my online purchases and didn't notice anything amiss. They still have working PayPal and of course PayPal would not discuss details with me when I tried to warn them about Mr. Taillight.com. Last I saw they still looked open and had working PayPal links. Just FYI.

Sorry to hear about you difficulties with them. I ordered a kit from them and had no problems at all. However, the relay was wired incorrectly when I received it and their technical support left something to be desired. They did correct the problem in the end, but it took longer than I would have liked.

One time I had the same thing happen on eBay, with a guy I really liked and had bought from before. I couldn't figure out why he'd do such a thing and it turns out he died right after my order. Now I always try to be at least a little patient but these guys were like ghosts. Did you look other places for your part? This was easily 2-3 years ago. When I couldn't get the kit to work properly, I called and called and could never get anyone to answer. I finally emailed tham and got a response a couple of days later. The emails went back and forth a few times taking a day or so to respond each time. Like I said, the customer service wasn't good, but they did get me fixed up in the end.

I ordered my kit from them at least 2 years ago and love the kit.... I recently w/in past couple weeks emailed them multiple times tho for questions on another vehicle kit and got no response... Something must be wrong with the guy or something ... I'm assuming its one guy running the site / making up the kits / selling it all.... etc...

just order one from ebay...they sell them there now, and if i dont get it i'll just call paypal no big deal, but there was lots of good feedback from buyers from even this year on ebay. there was also some negitive too. I bought from them years ago and need another light relay kit for my 09 gmc so i'll take my chances....at least i have ebay and paypal to back me up!!

I ordered from mrtaillight once years ago and they only sent half my order. When I contacted them the guy I spoke with said that there was absolutely no way I could have not recieved my full order and implied that I was a liar. I thought they went out of buisness. What do you know they have a BBB rating of F .

Just got a paypal order shiped comfromation from them 1 day it took to ship. There the only game in town, and i like there product, i guess i lucked out cuz they all ready shipped my order. Even if they f it up....i dont care, i bought it via ebay and paypal, ive done it before and its takes a 15 phone call and they give your money back and go after the paypal account!!!!

Oh and i read all the bad feedback on the bbb. but like i said, had one of these before and loved it and now need another!!

Just an update. I took the my relay into Autozone and they had a relay there that was a four prong and I though I needed a five prong and they didn't have one of those. So I went to the local Parts Plus store to see if they had one and they pointed to the one they had and it was also a four prong. I told them I needed a five prong and they said the center one is a dummy, and that it is not used. They said to make sure look at the other end and how many wires went into it. They were right . So bought that one and plugged it in and it works. So if anybody needs a relay just go to Parts Plus and by the lighting and wire area there it is. You won't have to deal with Mr. Taillight for parts.

Got my new Mr.tail light from ebay, they have a new ebay store called highbeamkits and i ordered it and it took 3 days to get to my house. works great, problem with bad customer service!! Cost 25.00 with shipping so its more than the 15.00 on the old mr.tailight site.....maybe they dont use the old site because they sold them for so cheap they didnt make any money!!! Still 25.00 is worth it for me.

Any other tips on how you ran the wiring? It would be much appreciated.

I emailed them on ebay, and they emailed back within a day. I will have to try my luck on the website though as they don't sell the hidden switches for the foglights on ebay. Sure i could mod something up myself, but just be easier for the extra 8 bucks and just get the darn thing. I will try my luck on the website.

I placed an order off of their website for my truck, so we will see if it comes or not.
