Adding Back-up Camera

I am looking for some info on installing a back up camera in my 09 chevy 1500 ltz with factory nav, rear seat ent. , bluetooth, but no back up cam option. Does anyone have any experience with the rostra 250-8039 kit? This one seems to be pretty close to factory. Do i need a lock pic like ive heard others talk about here? Does anything need to be done to the nav unit to get the reverse display up after everything is installed and connected. There is not much info on the rostra site about what all the kit contains or if i need anything else.

Others have installed a camera kit that interfaces with their nav screen and had to have the dealer "turn on" their camera feature in the nav system so that it will recognize the video signal. As far as I know, any camera that uses the same type of input signal as the factory is compatible.
