Sterring Wheel Lights

My left steering wheel button lights are out and so are the dash lights on the left next to heater and AC controls.

 

Are these light on the same circuit?

 

How do you change the lights on the steering wheel and dash?

You will have to replace the buttons in the steering wheel. The dash lights are soldered in. I believe radio shack has replacements. You can un-solder the bad ones and solder in the good ones. GM will tell you that you have to buy the control panel.

Don't know about the circuit, but my right side steering wheel control lights went out and my dealer told me the the back lights are not replaceable on them, have to get new controls. The cost was around $30 for mine.
