Installation is a bit tedious trying to position the lock without scratching the paint nor dropping it into the tailgate.  The supplied washers are too big for the S-10's tailgate design.  It works, but doesn't fit exactly right.  I have to jiggle the handle a bit to get it to latch, plus the handle doesn't sit completely flush with the tailgate.

I bought a Bully OEM style tailgate lock and love it. It costs about 15-20 from Pepboys.
