Starting Problem

ok, l'm not sure what the problem is here, maybe someone knows real quick.

i have a 2008 5.3L V8 silverado.

i hit the remote start today before i went to work, because it is -26C out today.

it started FINE, then after 10 minutes(because i am not a morning person) it shut off, so i RE-started it with my remote...

it kinda hesitated, but did start...(odd)

this is when i went outside immediately. i went to unplug the block heater, and could hear my cooling fans screaming trying to cool down my engine like it was overheating!

i jumped in my truck.... temperature isn't even reading yet...(normal THAT cold)

but in my dash cluster it reads "ENGINE HOT TURNED OFF A/C"

so i turned the truck off.

it wouldn't start again until i tried it an hour and a half later when it got cold again, but when it did... same problem. cooling fans come on after 15-20 seconds

here's one thing that has got me thinking.... i DID have it in a heated place yesterday for 12 hours....

might something have melted and re-froze somewhere that has welded something i need to work from working??

please help. i need to work in the morning!

You COULD at least tell us what the problem was so we can learn from it. That instead of just coming on, making 2 posts and leaving. :flag:
