Does This Void Any Kind Of Warranty?

I have a 2inch leveling kit on my 08 sierra and I have aftermarket wheels and tires. Does this void any kind of warranty with the drivetrain?

it varies by dealer. call your dealer and ask them.... and if they say that its not an issue, id get that in writing.

Call me a cynic...but I doubt a dealer will give you something in writing and even if they did, what good would it do since the GM warranty is printed in the warranty book and I don't think a dealer can modify it. But you might have an understanding dealer who will not even be bothered by something like this until there is an issue and GM denies the warranty claim and then the dealer has to decide if he wants to foot the bill or will he have the car owner foot the bill.

It does depend by dealer. I bought my truck from a dealership that sells, basically only trucks. They have a bunch of lifted trucks that they sell brand new. I knew I wouldn't have a problem putting a lift on mine, then bringing it in for service. They said they would replace my strut that blew recently, but I opted for some Bilsteins. Good to know they are there though! Just call and ask them anonymously.

If you bring it in for upper ball joints at 20k miles, then yes you will have a problem. If the tailgate handle breaks, then no you wont. I am saying that if what you did affects component life, then they may not honor that specific portion of the warranty. What brand of kit did you use?
