Intake Manifold Gasket Part Number

Haven't been able to find the right number. In my searching online I've found the 2 following Fel-Pro part numbers:

MS92211 - this is the "standard duty" replacement gasket and the least expensive ($39.33 from Amazon)

MS98016T - this is PermaDryPlus line and is mroe expensive ($51.79 plus shipping from RockAuto)

Now a few questions:

1. Has anyone used either of these gaskets especially the 98016T gasket on a 5.3L engine?

2. What is the difference between the 2?

3. Is there an online source for the gasket swap procedure such as a previous How-To article or something? I can't seem to find my Haynes manual so I'm looking for another reference.

4. How long does the repair usually take and are there any specialty tools that I will need?

I've been having the dreaded P0171 & P0174 codes and this is going to be my starting point. I did the starting fluid spray test the other day and I got a barely noticeable change in engine tone when I sprayed near the manifold on the drivers side.

One other question....when I go to replace the gasket and while I have the manifold off should the knock sensors also be replaced? Are these normal wear items that I can expect to go out as soon as I button the top of the engine back up?

BUMP....Anyone?

If you are already in there might as well replace them and do the RTV.

Now as to the part # you may need to double check to see if there has been a updated #, it's been a little while since I originally put that instruction PDF together.

I did mine this past weekend and used the Felpro from Autozone.

Part # MS96587

It's the blue/green colored updated gasket. I never realized how poorly the truck ran, even when fully warm, until I replaced them

If you still need to know, it's a Z vin.
