Loose Steering

Ok so now that i got my truck back from the shop it feels like my steering is loose or unresponsive, now i don't know if it just started or I'm just now noticing it from driving everyone else's cars around or what?

Is this something to worry about, what's causing it?

OK it was in the shop.... for what? How many miles are on it?

in the shop for the starter, 120,000 maybe a little bit more.

I've got an '05 Suburban that had to have the steering shaft replaced at around 16,000 miles. I could feel a rattle or vibration in the steering wheel going over sharp bumps. Apparently it's a common problem for Chevy/GMC's because I saw an aftermarket catalog that was selling replacement shafts that were touted as being stronger.

idk what it is but my 03 suburban steering has gotten real loose over the 145k miles it has. its just normal wear and tear i think
