Gmt800 Vs Gmt900 Stock 17's

Ok guys I'm sure some of you remember me talking about switching back to stock wheels because of the beating my truck takes everyday from having wheels that are different offset than stock and driving on gravel roads. Well i've made my final decision and am definitley going back to stock 17's. My truck came with steel rally wheels and I don't wanna go back to those. I have an opportunity to buy two different sets, one a GMT800 set and one a GMT900 set. The GMT800's are pretty cheap and the guy is willing to take my aftermarket rims off of me as well. But the GMT900's are fairly reasonably priced as well. I have the two inch leveling kit and am going to go to a bigger tire once these BFG's wear out. SO my question is does anyone have any pictures of thier stock GMT900's 17" (6 spoke) with 285's? Possibly bigger? Anyone have any pictures of GMT800 wheels on a GMT 900? Here's the deals:

1. the gmt800's trade for my aftermarket ones and I get $150

2. The GMT900's for only $850 which is the cheapest I've found so far for these wheels.

Just a heads up on the GMT900's. I have seen many sets of those go for about $500 with shipping on ebay. I've been thinking about getting another set to mount my mud tires on.

Also I had those GMT800 wheels on my old truck with 35's, swampers and bfg's. If I can find a picture I'll try and post it, all I have are hard copies.

Really? I have been looking the last little while and can't seem to find them that cheap...? If you find some let me know! That is of course unless you are going to buy them! lol

Edit: Sorry Greenhead I think I misspoke. The wheels are actually 550 but I live in Canada and they are hard to come by here and it's 850 with shipping to Canada otherwise it was about 600 with shipping anywhere in the US.

I have those 900 wheels on my 09, and they are really lightweight wheels. I think they are a good looking stock wheel, and will look better with more sidewall on them. Preferably 295 Toyo mud country.

I have a set like the first ones on my truck right now to run with my winter tires. I like the looks of them and price was/is right.

Here's my stock height Sierra with the stock 17" rims and 285 BFG A/T's. I'll be installing the Bilstein 5100's soon for about 1.2" of front lift just to get a little more clearance, but haven't had any rubbing yet even with some light off-roading the other day.

I've been doig the same thing.

Aftermarket rims with different off-set and a fair bit of off-road/gravel and its beating the rear quarter panel bulge just in front of the rear tires up real bad.

I had the stock rims and tires on a bit this summer(was doing alot of highway miles) and absolutely hated the look of the truck, after having the aftermarket rims on so long....

I will probably still swap em out now and then but don't think I will ever go with just the stockers..

Ok so on that note, does anyone know what the offset/backspacing is from factory? I would suspect I can get close to factory offset if I know what it is. Maybe I should just find another set of aftermarket wheels with an offset/backspacing better suited to my needs.
