Figuring Out Your Signature Thingy

how do all you guys get your picture of your rig on your signature???? i cant figure it out...maybe cuz im runnin a mac? i just cant figure it out

I posted this for a member at SilveradoSS.com.

 

This method uses the site (GM-Trucks.com) to host the pics.

 

I'll give you a Step by Step on exactly how I do it, here it goes-

 

1. Click on My Controls

2. On the left hand side near Invision Gallery click on Your Albums

3.Under Album Manager click on Create Album

4. Name it and write a brief description about it and create it.

5. Once created it will show under the Album Manager, click on the box to the right hand side that says "Select an operation" and select "upload image"

6. Browse your computer for the sig and then click on "Post Image"

7. The next page shows your sig and there will be two blue boxes to the right of it, specifically Hotlinking & BBCode (thats the one we need)

8. Right click on the "BBCode:" and copy it.

9. Now go back to My Controls

10. To the left in the blue box labeled Personal Profile click on "Edit Signature"

11. Paste the "BBCode" you copied earlier into the box and then click "Update my Signature".

12. The sig should now appear above in the box labeled Your current Signature

 

And if you were to use another site like Photobucket to host your pics, just use steps 8.-12.

 

I'm sure this will get you taken care of.

Don't forget to read the policy on size and content of your signature. Even though you sometimes can't tell, there's a limit on the size of the picture in the signature and also restrictions on any sexual nature of pictures.

You might wanna scale back that current text size wise and add a pic. It would look better IMO.
