Please Help With Bluetooth Problem

When someone calls, my phone rings through the speakers and I pick up the call and everything is fine. However, its when someone calls me while I am already on the phone is when the problem occurs. My phone will ring through the speakers and if I decline the incoming call or accept it, the ringing continues through the speakers and it is very annoying as you can imagine. Does anyone else have this problem??

Are you declining the call using the phone, or the steering wheel/mirror controls? I've noticed that it throws the OnStar system off if you are connected/paired to the truck and try using the phone to make a call, answer or deny a call, etc. You basically have to use the truck's controls for all phone related functions or it freaks the system out.

I haven't found that issue with my bluetooth in my 09 Silverado. I don't know about answering an incoming call, I dont think I ever have...I just let it ring. I will answer it next time and let you know how it goes.

As far as dialing with my phone, 80% of my calls I use the phone for all phone related functions and never had a problem. Once the phone is paired I just search the # in the phone, push 'send' - the bluetooth picks it up and I talk away. Never had an issue with the system freaking out.

How do you decline a call using the steering wheel controls?

Maybe take it in to the dealer....sounds like a warranty issue.

Izack, you press the Phone Button on the Steering Wheel just once to answer a call. You should add voice tags to any common numbers you call.

Dialing from my phone is no problem. The only problem is the one stated above, when I am on the phone and someone calls while I am already on the phone.
