Heated O2 Sensors Help

I need to buy (2) sensors

 

bank 1 sensor 1

 

bank 2 sensor 1

 

at acdelco.com , I see the option to buy (pos3) and (pos2)

 

so i am confused..

 

could anybody teach me how these are named...

Sensor 1's are the closest to the engine, sensor 2's are the back ones. Bank 1 is driverside (if I remember correctly) bank 2 is the passanger side.

 

Going by acdelco.com (from what you posted) you would need pos1 and pos2, 3 and 4 would be the back sensors. The first 2 should be the same part number, the back 2 should be the same part number, but not the same as the fronts. I think the back 2 have longer wires.

 

I hope this helps, I am not 100% on this info, as its been about 2 years since I replaced a O2 sensor on a GM truck.
