Zee Germans know how to make them....well the expensive ones anyway.
angelic0- Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 get the same year BMW M5, you will be more impressed... having tried both, i have to say the BMW is more bang for the buck, but nothing beats the sound of Mercedes' AMG V8s, ****ing ML63 AMG sounds like a beast.. M5's SMG-II gearbox is way more fun than the MB auto...

That E55 is good for mid 12's stock.
cerbomark Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 awsome cars, i had to chose betweeen my 2010 e 550 (381HP) 4 matic and a 2008 E55 with 30K miles. Same price. Warrenty was less time on the E55. The new ones are around $97,000 . I ve had two E classes and they are super driving cars.I just read yesterday that 50% OF AMG s made go to California. ( I was suprised).

( I was suprised). Buddy of mine has one. All black. He put AMG wheels on it so it looks a bit racier now. We both had 03/04 Cobra's (The eaton supercharged ones). I got rid of mine a ways back and he traded his in on the Benzo.. It's not quite as fast as his Cobra but too me it's the best of both worlds. Luxury and POWER!.

ColoradoSkiCountry Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 While I certainly have respect for MB and BMW, (I'll take a BMW anyday and will always take it over the most expensive MB!) it's just way too much $$$ for me. The money people throw away on making their MB and BMW faster, can be used to make a car half the cost, but just as comfortable faster then the MB and BMW and Rice crap out there when they blow off the extra $$$ to make it faster.
