New Truck Order Status ?

Recommended Posts

This is sort of question for our dealer members.

I have the abilty to look at the order status of my trucks that I have on order via my fleet log in to GM, but some of it is in code so to speak. I was wondering what TPW stands for.

Requested TPW is 2/8/10

actual TPW is blank.

My order status on this truck has not changed in the past 2 weeks, I sort of thought that was odd?

Current Event: 3000 / Accepted by Production Control

Event Date: 2010/01/19 Requested TPW: 2010/02/08

TPW

Tentative Production Week

So, your truck should be built on Monday Feb 8.

Thanks guys, what is the next phase. Do they not update the info untill after it is built?

2/8/10 is the requested TPW, the actual TPW is still blank. With requested TPW 2/8/10 being next week, I would think they would list an actual TPW by now.

Hey, Rich how fast have your trucks been coming in, I am about 3 weeks into the process and still at 3000 Status. About a year or 2 ago, my ordered truck would hit about 3-4 weeks after I ordered them. That does not seem to be the case now. All the trucks I bought last year and the 3500 chassis I bought this year were lot trucks. This one is my personal truck and there not to many TK10953's with SLT 4SA goups on the lots any more, pretty much 0, like this one. I can say, I am really glad that GM still offers a loaded 1/2 ton truck with an 8 foot bed though. They are about the only one left that does.

I'd say about 4-6 weeks is the norm.

We ordered my '07 the second week in Jan,It was built Mar.5th,shipped Mar.9th,arrived Mar.13th.

Thats the quickest I ever received any of my special ordered trucks, usually I wait 4-5 months!!
