2003 Jump Seat Conversion

Hello, I have a 2003 Avalanche Z71 w/ bose sound and middle console with power leather seats. I was wanting to know how to remove the console and install middle jump seat. I've seen that the bose option has the amp and sub in the console and was wanting to know if I can move it, maybe under dash? And also the dashboard and glove box assembly are different. Anyone tried this before??? Ive found and 02' conversion but not 03', on avalanchefanclubforum. Ive looked everywhere for countless hours. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

hey man i have an SS and i had the center console and i hated it so i took it out well there is like a 5" in the console and and amp under the console. i removed the sub and i ran the wires to the amp inder the carpet. i finally found the jump seat thing and i took my seats out put down the seat and then bolted the seats on top of the jump seat.......now you will need to get a new dash peice for you dash if you take out the console bc there will just be a whole there!!!!!! it wasnt really hard just hard to find the jump seat and dash peice

hey man i have an SS and i had the center console and i hated it so i took it out well there is like a 5" in the console and and amp under the console. i removed the sub and i ran the wires to the amp inder the carpet. i finally found the jump seat thing and i took my seats out put down the seat and then bolted the seats on top of the jump seat.......now you will need to get a new dash peice for you dash if you take out the console bc there will just be a whole there!!!!!! it wasnt really hard just hard to find the jump seat and dash peice

Hey i am putting in a jump seat also. Was wondering ... you ran the amp wires under the carpet. did you mount the amp under the jump seat too then? what did you do with all the the extra wires??
