Trans Fluid

if i pull the plug on the trans pan....about how many quarts should i need to refill it to the proper level...i'm trying to do some maintence and i was told the dealership wanted over 100 dollars to do this service.....(and no, they were not talking about a complete fluid exchange). plus is this really worth my time...fluid still looks good and is not burnt or getting brown.

check your owners manual. Also, how many miles do you have on it, it may be worth while to change the trans filter and flush the system also
