Code Reader Help ?

Bought an ActronCP9125 code reader today to check the endless list of codes on my 03 Silverado.

 

Works fine on the 03

 

Went to try it on my 00 Silverado, and I get nothing. When I plug it in, the reader will not power up.

 

Tried it again on the 03, Works fine.

 

Is there anything that would cause the 00 not to connect ?

Check the cigarette lighter fuse. It powers the OBD11 port. It is under the hood.

Cigarette lighter still powered up, because my Sirius radio still works.

 

Didn't look at the fuse, been too busy sitting at jury duty all day.

You need to look. There are accessory plugs and the cigarette plug. They are not on the same circuit.
