Upgrade Speakers?

Well about a month ago I bought a set of Kicker 2 10" CVR's & a Bazooka Amp, and was wondering if I should upgrade my speakers since they're NOT Bose speakers. I still haven't got a chance to get them installed due to the damn weather & work. I'm still gonna use the factory setup with the subs but just wondering if I should upgrade the speakers??

I think you should, you're gonna love the improvement in sound quality. If you wanna really get serious you should amp the doors as well. I suggest Polk Audio speakers and amps because I've used them and they are unbelievable for the money.

I have always used Alpine and Infinity speakers for my doors speakers in the vehicles I have owned.

I used to use gray market online vendors, but now I basically use Crutchfield.

You can get a pair of Polk DB651 6.5" speakers for about $60 shipped on ebay. They'll work great with a factory amp. You'll need an adapter of some kind. I just used a 6x9 to 6.5" adapter and it worked perfectly.

Infinity Reference in mine. Ordered from Crutchfield and got the adapter plates and wiring adapters. Made the install so much easier, since I didnt have take the door panels completely off to wire up.

Yep I have Infinity Reference shallow mounts with mounting ring in my civic, and having the mounting rings does make the install so much more easier....

I guess I'll look into those Infinity ones, I use to have a Jeep with Infinity's in them & they were pretty good.
