Broken Mirror

I broke the mirror on 09 sierra today. actually just the housing and some plastic underneath that broke. the glass is fine and the power mirror function still works. i have heated power mirrors, no power folding or turn signal. do i need to replace the entire mirror, thats what it appears to me. how much different are the 3rd party ones i see on ebay??? Is it an easy install. i see the 3rd party ones are lot less than gmpartsdirect.com

Be careful with eBay stuff. Some of these mirrors may be cheap Chinese made replicas that may last less than a year. I would rather pay a bit more and get a genuine GM part. At least you get a one year warranty on it.

I got mine here I am sure the 07 and 09 are the same. This one is black textured heated power manual folding. Same GM part number given to me by the dealership. $124 at the dealership. I have purchased another mirror from this company four yrs ago for my wifes Traliblazer. It also fit like a glove and is still in great shape. Good luck
