Snow Effect Alignment?

we got quite a bit of snow last night and by the time i drove home the roads were drifted pretty bad, i ended up leading cars home, but i hit a curve and got sucked into a pretty big drift, i slid maybe a foot or two through the drift with my wheels cocked until my g80 locked and then it straightened me out..my question is, will that have effected my alignment by pretty much pushing through the snow with cocked wheels? i did not hit anything or slide into dry pavement it was all piled powderdered snow with slush...the truck seems to drive fine, but i'm a bit of a worry wart now since last time i hit a deer the truck drove fine until my tires started going bald on the edges from a jacked ip camber..after investing a big chunk of change in some all terrains i want to be safe then sorry this time around...last question what types of things really do knock off the alignment quickly if snow drifts don't..thanks in advance

I guess it's possible, but I doubt it.

Certainly snow frozen on the wheels after that will cause your tires to be off-balance until all the snow is removed.

But the part about hitting a curve, that could for sure.

i diden't hit anything, i was just curious if the sliding on snow with the wheels slightly turned would of knocked anything out of whack

the truck was just aligned last friday lol, truck seems fine..the tires are awsome and i want them to last, thank you for the help guys

Nope...wont hurt anything....unless the snow has melted a little and turned back into ice. A very large clump of ice will be just like hitting a curb.

i try to avoid the giant frozen chunks, but at the moment the roads are poorly plowed and frozen so i'll just try to drive er slow through it

My wife took my truck right over a curb while taking a right ... that was 2 years ago. Tires wore fine. You'd have to smack something pretty hard -- you'd know instantly, as your steering wheel would be slightly cocked while going in a straight line. Plus you'd feel it in the way it handles.

i'm just a worry wart, when i hit the deer or well it actually hit me, i was going maybe 20 mph..i passed it and it bolt up and ran in front of me, i barely tapped it, went under the front end and the rear and got up and left..i diden't think anything of it, until a month later when my tires were melting away lol
