I just wanted to say I had pictures my truck out in the "snow"

 

But you can see here in Dallas TX, we did get a boat load of snow....

Here's a few pictures of my 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 W/T SL package 2 wheel drive in the record snow fall. Didn't get stuck once. This is in Lexington Park, Maryland.

 

 

Didn't know I had the camera phone set to antique.

 

 

I cleaned the snow off every hour and that's what accumulated within an hour.

Try comeing to North Dakota in the middle of winter in a blizzard. It's a whole lot of fun.

Got to love the traction control...

 

My truck doesn't have traction control. Still does great though. I was worried the only other truck I've owned was a

1991 S-10 Blazer 4X4, which I traded in for this truck. As soon as I trade it in, we get two of the worse winters in years. I figured coming from a 4X4 to a two wheel drive pickup I would be all over the place.

The G80 works awesome in snow! When I had my 4x2 Sierra with the G80, I got around in snow just fine. Not as well as my current 4x4 but, that's apples to oranges. I wouldn't hessitate to buy another 4x2 with a G80 if I had too.

Mississippi Snow...... ahh its nice when its a rare occurrence it has happened 2 times this year....... They are saying one more time in March..... Either way these are from 2 years ago... I did not get any pictures this year of my truck in the snow..... On the dirt road that me driving and my brother-in-law going to check the cows (just to show what they thought they even said WTF, that is why I moved down here from Montana jk natural born MS cows)......

Ahhh another Mississippi boy.... atleast I'm not the only one.... We had snow at home 6 times this year in Northern Mississippi... We own a lawncare business and our de-icing bill got shot to hell this year!!
