Transmission Shifts On Corners

I have a 2006 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4, stock 52,000 miles. I have noticed that when I go around corners, and as I am exiting the corner, and start to accelerate, it seems like the transmission will not grab, and the engine RPMs go up a little bit, then as you come out of the corner, the transmission grabs and all seems well. But I cant figure it out, I am wondering if I am going around a corner, and maybe the truck/frame is twisting slightly and this is causing it to do this. The transmission shifts great, I don't have any other problems with it, but was wondering if you knew what it is?

check your trans fluid level. if is a little low, when your turning your filter is not in the oil, so your sucking air. i had the same issue also, and i put 1/2 qt. over full and never had any other issues since..

good luck..

Thanks, that is all it was the fluid level was a little low. But my questions is with only a little over 50,000 miles why is it low, does that mean the transmission is leaking? I have looked under the vehicle and I really don't see much fluid under the vehicle or on the floor because I park in the garage every night? Any thoughts on this?

over time all liquids evaporate. when you do a oil change, it is a good idea to check all your fluids. it will help you also to monitor any that are showing sighs of loss..

good luck
