Code P2714?

[GMCRB]

Seems to be clutch pressure control. What would cause this code to come up? My truck is a 07 Sierra Denali 6.2 6 speed. Thanks

So I would say your Pressure Control Solenoid is faulty, or not functioning 100% (stuck)

Thank you. Does anyone know If this is easy to replace? Also how much this part will cost me? I cant find anything online yet.

Well it seems that it is the part it self is only about $50, but it is inside the transmission, so all of the expense is dropping the trans. and tearing it apart, I saw a couple guys say it cost about $750. I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear

But I also saw that some people used fluid conditioner/ cleaner that breaks down the gunk that may be on the solenoid causing it to stick, but if yours is faulty, then that won't help much. So I guess I would try changing the fluid and adding a product like that, and maybe you'll get lucky

The product the guy reccomends, I've never heard of, its called TransTune, but if it's made by seafoam, then I know it's good stuff, I personally think seafoam is a great product for fuel, and I'm sure they're trans. product is just as good.
